Manipur’s Bala Devi‘s tactic skills in football are no secret as she still holds the record of being the first Indian woman to secure a professional football deal in Europe.

Devi, for her exceptional play with the ball, has been awarded the Women’s Footballer of the Year for 2020-21 by the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

Devi has also previously pocketed this honour in 2014 and 2015 and this is her third time winning this prestigious accolade.
