What did Assam CM say?
He added, “We will hold a common test for engineers’ recruitment in the state. It will be like the APSC civil services examinations”.
Furthermore, he urged the new generation to work for the betterment of the state. Regretting that the state is weakening behind with other states of the country in terms of development, the Chief Minister said, “We are still lagging as compared to other states of the country in terms of development. Recently, I visited Telangana and saw their development. What is heartening is that the geographical size and population of the state are equal to Assam. But their Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is much more than ours.”
“We have to change. We have to work for the uplift of our state and people,” he added.
