Special DG of Assam Police- GP Singh informed, the seven ‘misguided’ youth including minors who recently formed ‘militant’ outfit Moran National Liberation Front (MNLF) have returned to mainstream Assam. GP Singh also said that these seven youths would be given appropriate counselling as and when needed.

“In pursuance to efforts made by @TinsukiaPolice seven misguided youngsters who had formed Moran National Liberation Front have returned to Assam. Few of them are minors. Role of DIG Sri Doley and SP Sri Deuri in this effort is hugely appreciated,” GP Singh tweeted.

Earlier, pictures of two Assam teens, Asim Moran (18) and Mukut Moran (19), who had been reported missing for over a month, surfaced on social media. It was reported that the two had joined MNLF.
