A very touching video of a baby elephant being reunited with its mother has gone viral over social media platforms. The incident took place in Tamil Nadu after an injured baby elephant was discovered by the forest team.
The team successfully managed to rescue the calf and led it securely back to its mother, according to the tweet by Indian forest officer Sudha Ramen.

Mother elephant provided with Z+ security of foresters team
The entire moment was captured in a 45-second long video, which went viral over social media platforms along with the hashtags #Hope #Happiness. In the video, it was clearly noticeable how comfortably the baby elephant was walking along with the team that rescued it.
Ramen wrote, “This little calf happily walks to get reunited with its mother guarded with Z+ security of the Tamil Nadu foresters team. Earlier the calf was found alone and injured. TN forest team rescued, treated, and escorts the little one to join with the mother”.
Viewers praise forest team’s efforts
The clip has gained almost about 8,000 views since it was shared on the web, with everyone praising the forest team’s efforts. Few also observed how the baby elephant was so comfortable around those officers.
One tweet said, “Those men in uniform enjoy the luxury, unlike many others. When they go to bed they will sleep with a sense of fulfillment,” to which Ramen replied, “They face many hardships- difficult terrain, leeches, long walks in dense forests with wildlife and many more..yet foresters do their duty with compassion.”
