Fans appeared visibly upset as Denmark star Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch on June 12 while the first half of Euro 2020 game: ‘Finland vs Denmark’ was still going on at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.
The fateful incident happened at in the 43rd minute of the match. The match soon halted few minutes before half-time, and the medical team made their way to the pitch to attend to Eriksen.
The attacking midfielder was soon carried off in a stretcher and fortunately, was conscious and raised his hand while his fellow players surrounded him with a white cloth. The Finland players began to walk out of the pitch in the 55th minute as the match was suspended.
The player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised.
