Jettwings Group of Institutions Celebrates it’s Annual Convocation for the academic year 2020-21

On 10th January, 2022, Jettwings Group of Institutions celebrated its annual convocation for the 15th consecutive year to confer the degrees on the eligible graduates of the Academic year 2020-21. The event was held at the Jettwings Central Campus, Guwahati.

The auspicious event was attended by Sri Shriniwas, National Joint Organizing Secretary of ABVP as the Chief Guest among other dignitaries including Dr Binita Bhagawati, Principal of K.K. Handique Govt. Sanskrit College, Guwahati, and President of Seemanta Chetana Manch Purvottar and Executive Member of Gauhati University, Shri Nirav Ghelani Ji, Zonal Organizing Secretary, ABVP (NE), Dr Biswajit Sarma, Director of College Development Council (CDC), Gauhati University and a host of other dignitaries, professors, teachers & students.

The program was enlightened by the presence of the students, as many of them performed- songs, dance and chorus.

Ms Barsha Adtya Singh, the Managing Director of Jettwings Group of Institutes and Celebrity fashion designer said, “Jettwings has always been about inclusive learning, be it in terms of course curriculum or intake of students. We have been training students largely from the remote places of the region, grooming and placing them with various organizations of international repute.”

She added, “Covid-19 came as a storm; nobody was prepared for. However, we are glad, with the help of technology & our tech savvy, flexible trainers, we could instantly switch to conducting online classes seamlessly. Presently, we are operating on a 50-50% virtual and offline class training structure”.

In the convocation program, the students were awarded their diploma degrees and the award, “Brightest Star of the Year” was given to the top meritorious students, of the respective institutes under the brand umbrella of Jettwings. Miss. Amrutaa Vibho was awarded the “Brightest Star of the Year of Jettwings School of Aviation“, who is now a student of the Stanford University. Not to mention that, she has been working closely with NASA. She also received a 10,000$ scholarship from Florida Institute of Technology for a program in BS Aerospace.

It was also hinted that, a new campus for Fashion Design and Architecture under Gauhati University at Guwahati City will be setting up very soon. The Managing Director of Jettwings Group of Institutes concluded the event with a vote of thanks for the success of the event.
