National Career Service has held a Job Fair in several districts of Assam, as is well known. It was set for the 23rd of December and the 4th of January. Many well-known companies attended the show in order to fill positions.
The first day of the Job Fair, which was hosted at the Rehabari Employment Exchange Office, saw an unprecedented number of interviewees. However, the situation spiralled out of control when a few people allegedly smashed the stalls and everything else inside the property due to a lack of patience.
Throughout the compound, heaps of candidate CVs may be seen laying around. Many people expressed their dissatisfaction with the situation.
The same unfathomable numbers of people were seen at other job melas held in other districts of the state.
It also resulted in a massive traffic jam on the Nepali Mandir-Birubari route, with all of the participants congregating outside the office.
