Jubi, Leon and Emir, three Sniffer Dogs will now take care of Kaziranga; deployed to monitor Poaching Activities

With an aim to track down rampant poachers and also assist the police force, the forest department has now alloted 3 specially trained sniffer dogs to their squad.

The three dogs namely Jubi, Leon and Emir will be taking over the lookout for the Bagori, Burhapahar and Bokakhat range of Kaziranga. They are three breeds including a German shepherd, Labrador and Belgium.

The forest department also stated that the sniffer dogs will not only alloted to forest department but also will assist the police department if any needs arise.
