Indian gamers like Mortal and Dynamo Gaming are well known and so is ‘Carry is Live’ -The second channel of CarryMinati. But have you heard about our very own player from Assam who is making her way through this booming PC gaming industry in India?
Meet Kangkana, a.k.a Mystic Ignite, the only youngest gamer girl from Assam. If that isn’t impressive enough, she is also the 1st Female Facebook Partner from India with over 50K followers.
Speaking to the North-Eastern Chronicle, she spoke about her journey into the PC gaming world, which starts from Assam’s very own Bihu festival, wherein she got the opportunity to play her first game along with her cousins on an old personal computer. “That’s how my passion ignited,” she reminisced.
However the enthusiasm at that moment was short-lived as she didn’t have the luxury of a PC, and studies took up most of her time.
The turn for the present arrived in her life when PUBG mobile entered the Indian market. It changed the gaming scenario for her. She went on to meet up with others in the PC gaming community in Assam and dived full-fledged into this field.
To further aid her passion for gaming, she acquired an old computer and started getting acquainted with games like PUBG, Apex Legends, Call of Duty (COD), and more.
Her journey was unstoppable from thereon. She recently touched 50K followers on Facebook for her gaming. While sharing the good news on her Instagram, she captioned, “We are now 50k followers strong. Thank you to everyone who supported me throughout this journey and can’t wait to hit 100k. I still remember the day when I did my first stream on Facebook from getting 100 views to thousands of views and to becoming the first female Facebook partner of India. Thank you @facebookgaming for giving me the platform to grow.”
Her most recent project involved a series with RedBull exploring her journey from a gamer to a streamer. With the first episode already out, she wishes to provide her viewers with a sneak peek into her gamer life – the struggles and the successes.
