Stars are born, not made – something that resonates completely with the persona of Sushant Singh Rajput. A guy from a small town came to the big city with big dreams and aspirations. Achieved the stars and made his mark – his life became a Bollywood story in its making.

He was one of the finest and the sharpest student during his school days and also secured 7th Rank in AIEEE in 2003. But, later, he realized his fascination for acting, dropped out from the course in the third year, pursued his passion for acting, and chose the glam world overstudies. He started taking acting classes to polish his skills and also joined Shiamak Davar’s dance group.
Most people don’t know the fact about him that he actually started his career with the role of Preet Juneja in the serial ‘Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil’ in the year 2008. Later, he became a well-known name in every household through the popular soap opera Pavitra Rishta in which he made people fall in love with his character “Manav Deshmukh”. Taking a break from the daily soap opera, he made his debut in Bollywood with the film Kai Po Che! It was a huge success, with everyone loving the new boy in town.
Things soon started boosting up for him with back to back success starting from ‘MS Dhoni- The Untold Story, ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, ‘PK’, ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!’, ‘Raabta, ‘Kedarnath’, Sonchiriya, Chhichhore, Drive and lastly ‘Dil Bechara’. Although, not every movie of his was a success which made his career go down at some point in time. He also used to date his co-star Ankita Lokhande, later they broke up after almost six years of their relationship.

We have observed the unconditional and never-ending love for his mother, it was quite evident that he used to miss his mother a lot. In fact, his last Instagram post was also a tribute to his mother. In 2011, Sushant Singh Rajput also dedicated a special dance performance to his late mother on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
Coming to his demise, which occurred a year back on the same day, according to the Mumbai Police investigation, initially, it was deemed to be suicide. Later various evidence of the cases about came up, including Bollywood celebrities like Rhea Chakraborty, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan being nabbed allegedly under drug use. However, his then-girlfriend Rhea and his other three friends are the primary suspects till now as the investigation is still going on. Bollywood reacted badly with Kangana Ranaut stating nepotism tag in Bollywood as the reason for Sushant’s depression.
Fans could not handle his demise and are still not able to believe the same. Such a fanbase also urged famous paranormal expert Steve Huff to connect to Sushant’s spirit. He claims that he has spoken with the spirit of the late actor. To date, fans are demanding justice for him asking for a proper investigation.
Who would have known the sudden halt his life would reach? Will justice ever be served? Who knows? However, he will forever be remembered through the tens of lives he lived through his characters – Prem, Manav, Mahi, Ishaan, Sarfaraz, and so many more. It’s heartbreaking not to be able to say that the story goes on.
