“The dopest picture”: Ratan Tata’s picture with Guns N’ Roses Slash goes viral

A picture shared by Ratan Tata goes viral as it features him with Guns N’ Roses star Slash.

About the photo:

The Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons shared an old photo reminiscing about the time when he met the famous band’s guitarist, Slash. Informing his followers that he met the artist at Galpin Jaguar, in Van Nuys, California during one of his retail outlet visits, he described the musician as a “very polite rockstar”.

Sharing the image, wearing a pin-striped suit, in contrast to the musician’s edgy attire, he added: “I was excited to meet this gentleman from Guns N’ Roses who was taking delivery of his new Jaguar XKR.”

In terms of few hours, the video garnered thousands of likes and also left many pleasantly surprised, including Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. “Wow !! This is too cool!” Singh commented on Instagram reacting to the picture. Another user remarked, “This is the dopiest photo I’ve seen.”

Ratan Naval Tata is an Indian industrialist, philanthropist, and a former chairman of Tata Sons. He is widely acknowledged and praised by people for the simplicity he holds in his personality.

Ratan Tata was born in Bombay, now Mumbai, on 28 December 1937, and is the son of Naval Tata. His biological maternal grandmother had been the sister of Hirabai Tata, wife of group founder Jamsetji Tata.

Ratan Tata studied at the Campion School, Mumbai till the 8th class, followed by Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai and at Bishop Cotton School in Shimla, and, in 1955, graduated from Riverdale Country School in New York City.
