Japanese Tennis star and four-time Grand Slam winner, Naomi Osaka will be playing at the Grand Slam event which will start later this month. Osaka did not give any kind of indication of not playing the game says Wimbledon organizers.

The 23-year-old opted out of the French Open as she was presently battling depression and anxiety. She was also fined $15,000 and threatened with disqualification from Roland Garros.

“We’ve reached out to her team, we haven’t spoken to Naomi herself. At this point, she’s entered into the championships and we haven’t received confirmation that she won’t compete,” said All England Club Chief Executive Sally Bolton said.
